retired from sadness is a personal blog where i document my days and a sea of other musings.

the website name is drawn from a mitski album title, retired from sad, new career in business. as a former self-proclaimed sadgirl, my trauma & poor mental health became integral to my identity. i did not know who i would be if i weren't hurting. through therapy, meds, and inner healing, i've retired this old way of life for a new one.

i've occupied many digital spaces in my time and i've frankly become bored of the modern internet. so here i am, fiddling with html on neocities when i haven't done stuff like this since my early teen years. here goes nothing!
